Mr. Andrew Gerding is responsible for managing the development and delivery of all proposals and bids throughout the company to create compelling proposals that are both compliant and beautiful.  He serves as central contact point, leading cross-functional teams and coordinating technical, pricing, contractual, and internal proposal support resources to ensure appropriate response to RFPs, and timely submission of proposals and other information requests. Mr. Gerding works closely with capture managers and operational SMEs to gather technical information and incorporate strategies, graphics, and win themes that are focused on the mission of the customer.

Mr. Gerding has been supporting the proposal process at HeiTech for nearly a decade through progressive roles, going from Graphic Designer to Proposal Coordinator to his current role as the Director, Proposal Management.  Given his tenure with the company and design background, Mr. Gerding’s corporate support goes beyond proposals as he continuously aids executive management, human resources, and project managers with formatting and graphic design services. 

Mr. Gerding achieved his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2010.  For fun, Mr. Gerding is an avid golfer with a single digit handicap who enjoys traveling all around the DMV to play.  Born in Bethesda, MD and raised in Bowie, MD, Mr. Gerding is also an intense supporter for all Washington D.C. sports teams, but most notably the Wizards and [Football Team].
